Job summary

ITV in Manchester is seeking a Payroll Projects Senior Assistant on a 10-month fixed-term contract to support payroll projects and compliance across UK entities. Based in MediaCity, you’ll work hybrid with a minimum of two office days per week, handling payroll data and payments.

You’ll execute end-to-end payroll transactions, perform reconciliations, conduct UAT, maintain SOPs, and manage payroll-related queries via our helpdesk, collaborating with the People Payments team, HR and Finance to

Qualifications

• GCSEs at grades A–C including English and Maths.
• Recent administrative or support experience, preferably in payroll or high-volume payments.
• Accurate data entry with attention to detail and familiarity with GDPR.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll-related transactions including starters, leavers, movements and variable pay.
• Perform reconciliations, UAT, and output validation during system changes and projects.
• Draft and maintain SOPs, process notes and operational documentation.
• Handle payroll queries via helpdesk and shared inboxes in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with People Payments, HR and Finance to meet SLAs and controls.
