Zusammenfassung

Butler Rose in Rotherham is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator/Executive to take ownership of a portfolio of 50-100 payroll clients, from weekly to monthly cycles. You will process payroll end-to-end, manage starters, leavers, statutory payments and RTI submissions, and liaise directly with clients to resolve queries.

You’ll join a growing payroll team within a larger accountancy group, with opportunities for CIPP development and long-term career progression in a supportive environment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience managing multiple client payrolls.
• Experience across weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll cycles.
• Confident managing own portfolio and deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance and statutory payments.
• Good understanding of auto-enrolment and workplace pensions.
• Experience completing RTI submissions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• The ability to liaise directly with clients to resolve payroll queries.
• Ability to prioritise a busy workload across multiple payroll deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Managing a portfolio of weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls.
• Processing payroll from start to finish for a broad range of clients.
• Processing starters, leavers, salary amendments, bonuses, overtime and other payroll changes.
• Calculating statutory payments including SSP, SMP, SPP and other statutory leave.
• Processing PAYE, National Insurance and pension deductions.
• Completing RTI submissions to HMRC.
• Managing auto-enrolment and workplace pension requirements.
• Producing payslips, payroll reports and associated client documentation.
• Processing year-end payroll requirements, including P60s and other statutory reporting.
• Liaising directly with clients regarding payroll queries and information requirements.
• Ensuring payrolls are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
• Maintaining compliance with current payroll legislation and HMRC requirements.
• Supporting the onboarding of new payroll clients where required.
• Resolving payroll discrepancies and more detailed client queries.
• Working closely with colleagues across payroll, accounts and wider practice.
