Clinical Partners is seeking a People Operations & Payroll Manager on a 12‑month maternity cover. You will lead payroll governance, oversee the end-to-end payroll cycle and work with our managed payroll provider, Finance team and stakeholders to deliver accurate payroll on time.

You will also oversee onboarding, employee lifecycle processes and continuous improvement initiatives, shaping the future of our People Operations function in a growing healthcare organisation.

Competenze

• Significant experience managing payroll processes and payroll governance.
• Leading a People Operations, HR Administration or Payroll team.
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance.
• Experience working with outsourced payroll providers.
• HR administration and employee lifecycle knowledge.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication.
• Experience using HR, payroll and people systems.

Mansioni

• Lead, coach and develop the People Operations team, ensuring high performance.
• Oversee the end-to-end monthly payroll process with accuracy and timeliness.
• Act as primary payroll contact with outsource provider and internal stakeholders.
• Manage payroll inputs: starters, leavers, changes, salary amendments, sickness, family leave, statutory payments.
• Maintain payroll controls, approvals, reconciliations and audits.
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, GDPR and internal policies.
• Oversee employee lifecycle processes and onboarding.
• Monitor service levels and team workload for colleague experience.
• Analyze payroll data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support system enhancements and process improvements.
• Build relationships with Finance, Talent Acquisition and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to projects supporting growth and operational excellence.
