Job summary

Wise in London is hiring a Payroll Project Lead on a 12-month FTC to join our global payroll team. You will lead end-to-end payroll projects, assess readiness for new markets and coordinate with internal teams and a third-party payroll vendor to ensure smooth go-live delivery.

You will design and manage robust project plans, monitor risks, and support the hyper care period after go-live, helping us grow and scale our payroll operations with precision and cross-functional collaboration.

• Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll projects supporting growth and expansion.
• Develop and manage project plans and timelines, capture risks.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment in the projects.
• Assess payroll readiness for new markets.
• Manage external vendors.
• Lead build, testing and sign-off for go-live readiness.
• Monitor project risks, issues and dependencies and update stakeholders.
• Support post-implementation hyper-care period.
