Medlock Partners, incorporated is seeking a Head of People to provide maternity cover at leadership level within the Operations team. The role combines strategic input with hands-on oversight of people operations, systems, compliance and the employee lifecycle.

Both full-time and part-time arrangements will be considered. The Head of People will partner with the Board to shape the people strategy, lead culture and change, and ensure a compliant, data-driven approach to recruitment, development

Qualifications

• Must be a confident HR leader with hands-on and strategic capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations and employment law.
• Ability to coach and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience across recruitment, L&D, wellbeing and health & safety.
• Data-driven decision making and HR systems proficiency.
• People-first approach with a commercial mindset.

Responsabilités

• Partner with the Board to design and deliver a people strategy that supports growth.
• Act as strategic advisor on culture, structure, change management and workforce planning.
• Coach and influence senior leaders to build strong, engaged teams.
• Oversee full recruitment lifecycle and GDPR compliance.
• Lead learning and development strategy and ROI evaluation.
• Manage wellbeing initiatives and DE&I goals.
• Lead health and safety compliance and audits.
• Oversee HR systems, payroll, benefits and policy reviews.
• Provide day-to-day HR operational leadership within the Operations team.
