You will oversee end-to-end payroll processing, stay up to date with HMRC rules and pensions, and provide guidance to the payroll team while building strong client relationships.

Formación

• Experience in bureau, practice or multi-client payroll.
• Knowledge of PAYE, RTI, pensions and statutory payments.
• Experience managing multiple clients and payroll schedules.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and client service skills.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in payroll software.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate payroll operations across a diverse client base from initial processing to completion.
• Provide day‑to‑day guidance and support to the payroll team.
• Ensure all payroll runs are completed accurately, efficiently and on time.
• Maintain HMRC compliance, pensions, tax and employment legislation.
• Oversee payroll submissions, reporting and year-end processes.
• Review payroll procedures to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Keep up to date with legislative developments and adapt payroll practices.
• Prepare client-specific reports and respond to payroll queries.
• Build positive client relationships and identify process improvements.
