Job summary

Confidential in Coalville is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join a permanent, hybrid-working payroll team of 1,000+ employees. You will own weekly and monthly payrolls end-to-end, ensuring accurate and on-time payments for the entire workforce.

You will also review and improve payroll processes, look for efficiencies through technology, and stay up-to-date with current payroll legislation, with a supportive, close-knit team environment and great career progression prospects.

Responsibilities

• Processing weekly and monthly payrolls end-to-end for 1,000+ employees
• Calculating holiday pay and National Insurance
• Calculating SSP, SMP and SPP
• Carrying out manual payroll calculations
• Resolving payroll queries efficiently and professionally
• Keeping up to date with current payroll legislation
• Reviewing current payroll processes and identifying opportunities for improvement

We are supporting a market-leading business based in Coalville, in their search for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their dynamic payroll function on a permanent basis. You'll take ownership of weekly and monthly payrolls from start to finish for a workforce of 1,000+ employees, playing a key role in ensuring every employee is paid accurately and on time.
