Job summary

Weatherbys Banking Group is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee the group payroll bureau, delivering accurate payrolls across the UK, Ireland and Australia.

This hybrid role in Wellingborough is a six-month fixed-term contract with immediate start, working closely with Finance and HR teams and supporting audits and pension auto-enrolment processes within a complex multi-entity environment.

Qualifications

• At least two years' payroll experience.
• Strong payroll systems knowledge (including Cascade).
• Good Excel skills and experience with detailed reconciliations.
• Ability to work accurately within tight processing deadlines.
• Clear communication skills and confidence dealing with HMRC, auditors and internal stakeholders.
• An inquisitive approach with strong attention to detail.

Payroll Manager

Wellingborough | Hybrid working | Six-month fixed-term contract | Immediate Start

If you're an experienced payroll professional who can quickly take ownership of a varied payroll operation, this six-month contract offers plenty of scope. You'll manage the Weatherbys Group payroll bureau, supporting businesses across the UK, Ireland and Australia.

This role sits within Weatherbys Ltd and works closely with Finance and HR colleagues across the wider Weatherbys organisation, including Weatherbys Bank and Arkle Finance. You will oversee payroll delivery across multiple employing entities, systems and processing cycles, so this will suit an experienced payroll professional who can quickly take ownership and work confidently in a complex environment.
