Job summary

Tyrefix Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to own and develop our payroll function. This newly created role offers genuine ownership, autonomy and the opportunity to shape processes that support our growth.

You will manage end-to-end weekly and monthly payrolls for around 180 staff and ensure on-time salaries. You will reconcile payroll data in Excel, process via Sage Payroll, and ensure compliance with HMRC, PAYE, National Insurance and pension requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience managing end-to-end payroll independently for weekly and monthly payrolls.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation including PAYE, National Insurance and pension requirements.
• Proficient in Excel for data analysis, reconciliation and reporting.
• Experience using Sage Payroll is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of end-to-end weekly and monthly payrolls.
• Prepare, review and reconcile payroll data in Excel before processing in Sage Payroll.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of salaries, overtime, deductions and adjustments.
• Manage attachments of earnings and pension contributions.
• Act as main contact for payroll queries and support integrations following acquisitions.
