Job summary

BorgWarner in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to deliver end-to-end payroll for salaried and hourly staff, ensuring on-time, accurate payments and full compliance with UK legislation. You will collaborate with HR, Finance and external payroll providers, maintain payroll-related HRIS and time & attendance records, and provide payroll reporting and analysis.

Strong Excel skills are essential; experience with Workday or ADP is desirable.

• Experience processing payroll in a manufacturing or multi-population environment.

• Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for salaried and hourly employees.
• Primary point of contact for payroll queries and escalations.
• Responsible for maintaining compliance with payroll legislation and company policies.
• Supports internal and external audits relating to payroll and employee data.
• Maintains payroll-related HRIS and time & attendance records.
• Provides payroll reporting and analysis to HR and Finance.
• Recognised payroll subject matter expert within the UK.

Overall Purpose:

Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of payroll services, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time whilst maintaining full compliance with relevant legislation, BorgWarner policies and internal controls.

Subject matter expert for payroll, time and attendance processes, payroll compliance, audits and annual statutory activities.

Works closely with HR, Finance, managers and external payroll providers to ensure efficient payroll operations whilst maintaining the integrity of HR and payroll systems.
