Qualifications

  • Confident using Excel for payroll computations.

  • Calculate statutory pay elements and manage HMRC submissions.
  • Support payroll system integration and resolve payroll queries.

  • Role: Payroll Coordinator
  • Salary: Up to £55,000 + Bonus
  • Location: Central London
  • Hybrid working: 4 days per week in the office
  • Contract: Permanent (Full-Time)
I'm currently working with a prestigious international professional services firm that is looking to hire an experienced Payroll Coordinator to join their London-based HR team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering long-term development within a high-performing environment.The Role: Reporting into the Payroll Specialist, this position will play a key role in supporting the delivery of an accurate and efficient payroll service across the UK and assist with some international components. You'll be involved in the end-to-end payroll cycle, including statutory reporting, benefit processing, and system integrations.Key Responsibilities Include:Processing starters, leavers, salary changes, and deductionsCalculating statutory pay elements (holiday, sick, maternity, etc.)Managing benefit-related deductions and HMRC submissionsAuto-enrolment duties, including pension contributions and complianceSupporting payroll system integration (Workday to ADP)Assisting with payroll journals, reconciliations, and year-end returnsResolving payroll queries and liaising with internal departments and external providersSupporting US expat payroll processing (GBP/USD)Candidate Profile:3-5 years' UK payroll experience in a fast-paced, professional environmentStrong understanding of PAYE/NIC and statutory payroll legislationProficient in ADP iHCM or similar payroll systemsConfident using Excel (VLOOKUPs, formulas, pivot tables)Previous exposure to Workday or international payroll is a bonusAccurate, organised, and able to work with minimal supervisionExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsWhy Apply?
