Job summary

An exciting opportunity awaits as a Payroll and Pensions Co-Ordinator with a prominent Academy Trust in Staffordshire. This role, offered on a seven to eight month contract with potential for extension, is ideal for those with a strong background in payroll and pension administration. Base pay range

We are currently working in partnership with an Academy Trust based in Staffordshire, who are recruiting for a Payroll and Pensions Co-Ordinator on a seven to eight month contract with the possibility of extension/going permanent.

The position is due to start immediately and is predominantly remote, with travel required to the office on occasion. The hourly/daily rate is equivalent to c.£40k with room for negotiation.

The ideal candidate will have experience with LGPS, Teachers Pensions, and Midland HR/iTrent, however, these requirements can be flexible.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Preparing monthly payroll for c.450 employees to be sent to Midland HR
  • Acting as the lead for all Teachers Pension and LGPS related queries
  • Checking payroll information input by HR and schools, identifying and amending any errors
  • Reconciling payroll data before sending to MHR for payment
  • Resolving queries from staff regarding payroll

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • End to end payroll
  • Pension administration

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
