Job summary

Venture Recruitment Partners, also trading as Chilworth Partnership Ltd, is seeking a Payroll & HR Administrator to join a growing business in Winchester. The role covers UK payroll, benefits administration and HR support across the employee lifecycle.

You will manage monthly payroll via Sage Payroll, ensure PAYE and year-end reporting, handle pensions and salary sacrifice, and contribute to budgeting, forecasting and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience running or coordinating UK payroll with PAYE and year-end processes.
• HR administration across the employee lifecycle and confidential handling of data.
• Ability to manage deadlines and deliver accurate payroll information.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key payroll and benefits contact for employees and managers.
• Run monthly payroll using Sage Payroll and perform data checks.
• Maintain PAYE records and complete year-end reporting.
• Administer pension auto-enrolment and salary sacrifice schemes.
• Support payroll-related reconciliations and budgeting information.
• Prepare HR correspondence, contracts and onboarding/offboarding activities.
• Ensure compliance with tax and employment laws.
