Job summary

Weydon Multi-Academy Trust (WMAT) is seeking a Payroll Assistant to join the Payroll Team. The role supports the Payroll Lead and Manager, handling payroll across two platforms, with a focus on accuracy and timely payments across WMAT entities.

You will work across two offices and may have hybrid working arrangements. The successful candidate will contribute to data migration, testing and the rollout of a unified payroll platform during a period of change.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical and analytical skills for handling large volumes of payroll data.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Experience with payroll systems and data management to support audits.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accurate processing of payroll and pensions in line with UK statutory requirements.
• Respond to employee queries and provide required data for payroll processing and audits.
• Support data migration, system testing and implementation of new payroll processes across platforms.
