Responsibilities

• Weekly Payroll Processing: End-to-end processing, ensure hours, overtime, and deductions are accurate and deadlines met.
• Payroll Administration: Manage starters, leavers, updating records, and data accuracy.
• Statutory Payments: Calculate and administer SSP, SMP, and SPP per legislation.
• Pensions & Auto-Enrolment: Support pension processes, admin auto-enrolment and opt-ins/outs.
• Employee Support: Be first point of contact for payroll queries with clear information.
• Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure HMRC compliance and confidentiality.
• Reporting: Maintain data and produce reports for internal stakeholders.

Salary & Benefits

• £18,200 - £18,850 DOE based on 25 hours per week.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a key member of the payroll team, you’ll play an important role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time every week.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Weekly Payroll Processing
  Processing weekly payroll end-to-end, ensuring all hours, overtime, and deductions are calculated accurately and deadlines are met.


• Payroll Administration
  Managing day-to-day payroll tasks including starters, leavers, updating employee records, and maintaining accurate data.


• Statutory Payments
  Calculating and administering SSP, SMP, and SPP in line with current legislation.


• Pensions & Auto-Enrolment
  Supporting pension processes, including auto-enrolment, employee assessments, and handling opt-ins/opt-outs.


• Employee Support
  Acting as a first point of contact for payroll queries, providing clear and helpful information to employees.


• Compliance & Accuracy
  Ensuring all payroll processes comply with HMRC regulations and are completed with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.


• Reporting
  Maintaining payroll data and producing reports for internal stakeholders when required.

What We’re Looking For
