The View Hotel in Eastbourne, part of Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA, is hiring a Payroll Assistant on a permanent annualised hours contract. The role is part-time, typically around 10 hours a week across 2 days, with flexibility to fit business needs.
You will own payroll administration, ensure accurate and confidential pay, and generate payroll and workforce reports to support decision-making across the hotel. Experience in payroll is preferred.

We're looking for a part-time Payroll Assistant to join our team on a permanent annualised hours contract, providing the security of permanent employment alongside the flexibility to balance work and life commitments.
The position is based on an average of 10 hours per week, typically worked across 2 days, with flexibility around how those hours are scheduled. As Payroll Assistant, you'll play a key role at the heart of our hotel, supporting the payroll function. You'll take ownership of payroll administration, ensuring our team members are paid accurately, confidentially and on time, while becoming a trusted point of contact for payroll related queries.
Reporting and workforce analytics will form an important part of the role. You'll produce payroll and workforce reports, monitor labour costs, annual leave balances and banked hours, and provide meaningful insights that support operational decision-making across the hotel.
Please note that all successful applicants will be required to provide two relevant references, preferably work-related. Due to the trust-based nature of this position, a Basic Disclosure Check will also be required as part of our onboarding process.
