Overview




Position Overview:

Neuronetics seeking an experienced Payroll & Benefits Specialist to manage the end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 600 employees, including exempt, non-exempt, and hourly staff. This role is also responsible for the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. We're looking for someone who is not only capable of executing core functions but also passionate about streamlining and improving systems and processes.

Work Environment:

    Hybrid role: 3 days onsite per week at our Malvern, PA headquarters

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Payroll Administration (60%)

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 600 employees across multiple states and Canada
  • Ensure timely and accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings, and deductions
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Partner with HR and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies and support audits
  • Manage year-end activities, including W-2 preparation and reporting

Benefits Administration (40%)

  • Administer health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, FSA/HSA, 401(k), and wellness programs
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment and employee education
  • Handle benefit inquiries, enrollments, and changes in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and ensure compliance with plan documents and regulations (HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, ERISA)
  • Support leave of absence tracking and FMLA administration

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities: (list skills required to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position)

  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, Rippling) and MS Excel
  • Familiarity with benefits compliance requirements and best practices for various state laws
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset
  • Ability to adapt quickly, prioritize tasks, and propose process improvements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll and benefits administration
  • Experience processing payroll for 500+ employees, including exempt, non-exempt, salary and hourly employees
  • Must have experience processing payroll in ADP Workforce Now
  • Previous experience processing multi-state payroll

Preferred Skills:

  • CPP or PHR certification a plus
  • Payroll processing in Rippling
  • Experience processing payroll for CAD

Physical Requirements

  • Standing/Sitting 25/75%

  • Travel by air, rail, auto (% of time) N/A
