Job summary

The People Pod in Bolton is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our finance team. The role is full-time and permanent with a payrate of up to £15.44 per hour, depending on experience and agreed hours.

Flexible part-time consideration is welcomed for the right candidate. You will process payroll to deadlines, maintain records, handle confidential information with discretion, and use Ceequel and Payroll Opera alongside Excel for reporting and reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Prev payroll administration experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience with Excel and handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Processing payroll to agreed deadlines.
• Entering and checking starters, leavers, pay changes, overtime, deductions and absences.
• Maintaining accurate employee and payroll records.
• Using Ceequel and Payroll Opera to manage payroll information.
• Preparing and updating payroll spreadsheets in Excel.
• Checking and reconciling payroll data, and resolving discrepancies.
• Responding clearly and professionally to payroll queries.
• Preparing payroll reports and supporting related administration.
