Job summary

Kpa Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Data Administrator to join the Payroll team. You will input and maintain payroll data, manage absences, and support fleet administration. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and proactive administrative support within payroll.

The position offers learning and development opportunities, with exposure to payroll systems and processes, and a professional working environment. Monday–Friday 08:30–17:00, with on-site duties.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality of payroll records.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Payroll Team.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Data Administrator to join our clients Payroll team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working with data and has a keen eye for accuracy.

You will be responsible for maintaining employee records, inputting payroll-related data, and providing administrative support across various payroll and fleet administration activities. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to learn, develop, and build a career within payroll.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately input and maintain payroll-related data and figures.
  • Record and monitor employee absences, ensuring information is accurate and matches payroll records.
  • Manage and organise payroll email inboxes, responding to queries and directing communications appropriately.
  • File and maintain electronic documents using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Support fleet administration activities, including organising and managing fuel cards.
  • Ensure payroll records and administration processes are maintained accurately and confidentially.
  • Assist with general administrative duties to support the Payroll Team.
  • Communicate professionally with employees and stakeholders via telephone and email.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Previous administration experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to work confidently with numerical data.
  • Good Excel skills and confidence working with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
