Job summary

INDPAYS is seeking a Payroll Administrator to own processing for stores and head office teams. You will oversee onboarding and employee record management while handling day-to-day HR queries, delivering end-to-end payroll in the UK.

The role requires 3-5 years' payroll experience, strong knowledge of UK legislation, and the ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The hybrid setup offers a competitive salary and benefits.

  • End-to-end payroll administration experience.
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation.
  • Experience processing high volumes of payroll transactions.
  • Payroll reconciliation and validation experience.

  • Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end payroll administration.
  • Process starters, leavers and employee changes.

  • Process payroll amendments and adjustments.

About the Role

As a Payroll Administrator, you'll take ownership of processing for stores and head office teams. You'll also get hands‑on exposure to a variety of duties - from onboarding and employee record management to supporting day‑to‑day HR queries. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to handle end to end payroll in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-end payroll administration
  • Processing starters, leavers and employee changes
  • Managing statutory payments including SSP, SMP and SPP
  • Payroll validation and reconciliation activities
  • Processing payroll amendments and adjustments
  • Responding to payroll queries
  • Ensuring compliance with current UK payroll legislation
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and payroll projects
  • Working across multiple payroll cycles and deadlines
