Job summary

Protolabs in the United Kingdom is seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage the UK time and attendance system, support monthly payroll processing, and deputise for the Payroll and Treasury Lead when required.

You will ensure accurate T&A data, resolve anomalies, and contribute to process improvements while working with a supportive global team.

This permanent, full-time role offers a 37.5-hour week, 25 days of holiday, onsite parking, and a range of employee benefits.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working in Payroll or a very similar role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Management of UK Time & Attendance (T&A) system, liaising with supervisors and management to resolve anomalies.
  • Ad-hoc T&A reporting.
  • Continuous improvement of T&A processes.
  • Supporting the Payroll and Treasury Lead with the monthly payroll.
  • Completing all payroll journal entries and payroll reconciliations.
  • Deputising for the Payroll and Treasury Lead during absences and running payroll for UK and other European payrolls.

Join the team as our new Payroll Administrator!

Support the Payroll and Treasury Lead by owning the management of the UK time and attendance system. Supporting Payroll processing and month end payroll tasks. Deputising for the Payroll and Treasury Lead in times of absence.

What You'll Do
  • Management of UK T&A System, liaising with supervisors and management to resolve anomalies
  • Ad-hoc T&A reporting
  • Continuous improvement of T&A processes
  • Supporting the Payroll and Treasury Lead with the monthly payroll
  • Completing all payroll journal entries and Payroll related reconciliations
  • Being able to competently deputise for the Payroll and Treasury Lead in times of absence including being able to independently run the payroll for UK and administer other outsourced payrolls in Europe.
  • To raise bank payments and perform bank reconciliations
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties as required by the Payroll and Treasury Lead

Education and Experience:
  • Experience of working in Payroll or very similar role
