Portfolio Payroll is representing an umbrella services business in Cumbria seeking an experienced payroll professional to join their growing team.

The company is expanding its client services and is looking for an experienced bureau/client payroll candidate to support and develop within the organization on a part-time basis.

Key Duties/Tasks:

1. Utilize technical payroll skills, including relevant payroll systems and strong Excel proficiency.
2. Support the busy payroll department.
3. Handle high-volume, fast-paced work.
4. Manage a portfolio of clients independently.
5. Possess client payroll experience (preferred).
6. Provide comprehensive advice to employees regarding payroll queries via phone and email.
7. Work effectively to meet multiple deadlines.
8. Perform manual and automated calculations of taxes and other deductions.
