Job summary

DFS is looking for a Payroll Administrator for a 7-month fixed term role, working both in-office and remotely. You will process payroll accurately, ensure compliance, and support the team. Qualifications

  • Payroll experience (minimum 2 years) in a fast-paced environment.
  • Practical experience of standalone and integrated HR and Payroll systems.

Responsibilities

  • Processing weekly and monthly payrolls adhering to payroll processes.
  • Audit and review of information received, ensuring procedures are followed.
  • Production of payroll reconciliation and control reports.

Job description

7 months fixed term role - Monday to Friday, working hours are 9am till 5pm, or 8.30 am to 4.30 pm. Remote working is possible - 3 days in the office/ two days working from home.

As our new Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for accurately processing payroll for our employees and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Working as part of a fast-paced team environment, you will play a pivotal role within the Group.

What you'll be doing
  • Processing of weekly and monthly payrolls adhering to payroll processes, procedures, and statutory legislation
  • Audit and review of information received, ensuring relevant internal procedures are followed and deadlines achieved
  • Production of payroll reconciliation and control reports
  • Answering queries and data requests from internal colleagues and external sources

  • Good technical and numeracy skills, including Excel
  • Payroll experience (minimum 2 years) in a fast-paced environment
  • Practical experience of standalone and integrated HR and Payroll systems
  • Experience of using MHR iTrent and Iris Cascade systems is desirable
