About the job:

Role: We are recruiting commercially minded Administrators to join our fast-paced Payroll team during a period of growth. No previous payroll experience is required as training will be provided. A can-do attitude and willingness to work in a dynamic environment are essential.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Inputting customer data into the iTrent system and generating reports in collaboration with the Pensions and Payroll teams.
  • Ensuring payroll data accuracy and processing.
  • Resolving queries efficiently.
  • Supporting clients with data reporting weekly and on request.
  • Handling incoming calls appropriately.
  • Supporting administration practices in line with legal and business needs.
  • Providing breakdowns for payroll processing.
  • Managing client queries and liaising with clients regarding payroll changes.
  • Adapting to a fast-paced environment with a focus on client service.

Location: This role is based at our modern offices in Bury, Greater Manchester.

About you:

To succeed, you should have:

  • Strong administrative skills with advanced Excel capabilities (VLookups, Pivot Tables, etc.), problem-solving, and data management skills.
  • A basic understanding of payroll is desirable.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work well in a motivated team and under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Capability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to challenge discrepancies.
  • A hands-on attitude and eagerness to learn.

The salary range for this role is £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.

  • 28 days holiday plus an extra day for each year of service, up to a maximum of 33 days, plus bank holidays.
