Career Opportunities: EGOTM Payroll Administrator (108698)

Are you a detail-oriented professional with payroll experience, eager to take your skills to the next level? Our expanding Payroll Team is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our fast-paced and growing organisation!

In this role, you will provide essential day-to-day payroll support and serve as the first point of contact for all payroll-related queries. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will be key to ensuring smooth payroll operations and maintaining accessible, well-organized records.

You must be able to build strong relationships, and go the extra mile in supporting our team members and managers.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Accurately prepare, process, and administer payroll, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  2. Serve as the first point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from employees and line managers, providing prompt and accurate resolutions.
  3. Ensure compliance with contractual and statutory requirements, including the accurate processing of:
    1. New starters, leavers, transfers, and employee amendments.
    2. Pension contributions and related documentation.
    3. Statutory payments, such as maternity, paternity, parental leave, and statutory sick pay (SSP).
  4. Manage and maintain the time and attendance system, ensuring all employee hours are recorded accurately.
  5. Set up new employees and manage updates to employee records in the timekeeping system.
  6. Review and validate approved working hours to ensure correct payment calculations.
  7. Check payslips and payroll reports thoroughly during payroll validation to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors before final processing.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. At least 1 year of hands-on payroll experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of payroll processes and systems.
  2. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees, line managers, and external stakeholders.
  4. Intermediate to advanced Excel and data analytic skills.
