Job summary

Rg Consultancy is seeking an accounts/payroll assistant to join a small but busy finance team. You will ensure accurate payroll processing, perform supplier and credit card reconciliations, and handle day-to-day admin tasks with proficiency in accounting software.

The role reports into the finance director and involves month-end support, processing SMP/SSP and holiday pay, and handling ad hoc GL tasks within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Must be AAT qualified or studying towards AAT.
• Proficiency in creating and managing Excel reports.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on time.
• Prepare and process purchase invoices and payment lists.
• Conduct weekly BACs payments and bank/credit card reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end duties as settled into role.
• Handle Starters/Leavers, SMP/SSP and holiday pay processing.
• Monitor and resolve Purchase Ledger issues.
• Support accounts payable with invoices and payments as needed.
• Maintain credit control.
