Job summary

Investec is seeking a Payments Product Lead within Corporate Transaction Banking. You will own the Payments portfolio from insight to retirement, responsible for the roadmap, commercial performance and end-to-end client journeys across domestic, international and bulk payments.

You will shape innovation, balance strategic and operational needs, and influence the payments roadmap while ensuring regulatory readiness and robust product governance.

Qualifications

• Senior product leadership experience within Commercial and/or Corporate Transaction Banking.
• Strong scheme expertise across domestic and cross-border payments.
• Commercial and analytical strength in pricing, forecasting and P&L drivers.
• Ability to simplify complex topics and balance client, commercial, risk and operational priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own the Payments strategy, roadmap and full lifecycle across payments and collections.
• Shape and launch new products and schemes; optimise existing propositions for client value and growth.
• Translate client, regulatory and operational needs into scalable payment capabilities and journeys.
• Own business cases, forecasts and pricing; track revenue, volumes and benefits realisation.
• Guide stakeholders and coach colleagues in product management disciplines.
