Job summary

Nationwide is recruiting for its Payments Development Programme in Swindon, Glasgow or London, offering a structured, rotational early-career route into banking. You’ll start with onboarding, then three placements across Payments, complemented by hands-on experience, digital learning and leadership insights.

You’ll gain exposure to payments operations, regulatory considerations and customer outcomes while building core skills for a rewarding career in banking.

Responsibilities

• Join Payments teams and support services and systems that help millions move and manage money.
• Participate in six-week onboarding and three rotational placements across Payments.
• Engage in hands-on experience, role-specific training and workshops to build skills.
• Work with senior leaders and the Payments community to broaden understanding of the business.
• Contribute to projects improving customer outcomes while balancing regulation and efficiency.
• Develop skills in data analysis, process improvement and stakeholder management.
