Nationwide is offering a Finance Development Programme in Swindon and Glasgow for graduates and career changers. You’ll gain hands-on experience in financial management, with a tailored learning pathway and opportunities to study towards professional qualifications.

Over three years you’ll rotate through management accounting, financial reporting and planning, building commercial awareness and influencing decisions across the Society. Hybrid working is supported.

Qualifications

• You'll study towards professional finance qualifications.
• Ability to analyse data, identify challenges and propose solutions.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop foundations in management accounting and financial reporting.
• Assist with monthly financial information production and analysis.
• Support stakeholders with financial insight to inform decisions.
• Contribute to financial planning and performance reporting.
• Prepare for professional finance qualifications (e.g., CIMA).
• Collaborate across Nationwide's Finance teams during rotations.
