Job Title: Payments Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Payments Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in the payments industry and agile methodologies to drive business analysis and solutions design, contributing significantly to our Scrum activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the business analyst team effectively.
• Participate in Scrum activities including sprint planning, ceremonies, retrospectives, and stand-ups.
• Demonstrate expertise in SEPA ACH and payments industry knowledge.
• Design and coordinate Jira reporting with Development and DevOps leads for epics, stories, and tasks.
• Capture, analyze, and document business processes, converting them into user stories.
• Design solutions or change interventions, managing stakeholder engagement and timeline planning.
• Develop change interventions such as training and communication strategies.
• Track progress, manage status reporting, and implement solutions.
• Support technical teams and manage support staff to ensure effective resource utilization.
• Define analysis approaches to solve problems and collaborate with multi-skilled teams.
• Create component-level flow diagrams, such as Swimlane diagrams, to define payment processing sequences.
• Translate requirements into functional user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Perform root cause analysis of failures and recommend improvements.
• Maintain a holistic, end-to-end perspective.
• Work closely with solution delivery and production support teams to ensure understanding and support of new software.
• Review test cases and results to ensure requirements are met.
• Require experience in the payments industry, agile methodologies, SEPA ACH, Jira, and Confluence.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with SWIFT.
• Ability to manage change activities and stakeholder engagement.
