Job summary

Care Concern Group, with over 140 care homes across the UK, seeks a detail-oriented Payments Administrator for its Head Office to manage beneficiary validation, create banking templates, and ensure timely, accurate payments.

You will liaise with banks, handle supplier payments with the Accounts Payable Manager and Payments team, and uphold financial policies while driving efficiency in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in payment administration or accounts payable or finance administration.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to challenge processes.
• Experience managing a shared Finance inbox and prioritising tasks.
• Problem-solving and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Independently verifying beneficiary details.
• Creating new beneficiary templates in the banking system.
• Input of payments provided by Accounts Payable with deadlines and accuracy.
• Proficient with banking platforms for payment input and account operations.
• Liaise with banks’ support teams for system issues.
• Respond to queries via phone and email with professionalism.
• Process supplier payments with the Accounts Payable Manager and Payments team.
• Follow financial policies to drive efficiency.
