Job summary

Worldpay is seeking a Payments Terminal Software Engineer to join our TRANSAXpay team in the UK. You will develop and enhance software running in Chip and PIN terminals, leveraging your payments industry experience to design enhancements and diagnose issues.

You'll collaborate with testing, guide other developers, and ensure coverage across the solution architecture. The role is hybrid, mainly based in Birmingham with some remote work.

Qualifications

• Experience in payment terminal software development.
• Understanding of the payments industry and related businesses.
• Ability to coordinate work across local and remote resources.
• Familiarity with Windows, Unix, Oracle Databases and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Gain deep understanding of the payment terminal solution architecture.
• Design enhancements to the solution and develop product features.
• Determine causes of software problems and apply fixes.
• Guide other developers in their implementation work.
