Job summary

Costain is delivering the Simister Island improvements for National Highways north of Manchester. The Pavements Site Agent will be responsible for safe, efficient and compliant delivery of all road pavement and associated highway works across their section, liaising with earthworks and leading the pavement teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires coordinating with Temporary Traffic Management, Structures, Drainage, Utilities, Technology, Commercial, Design and Stakeholder

Qualifications

• Experience in highway pavement works preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate site teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, efficient and compliant pavement works on the M60 Simister Island scheme.
• Liaise with earthworks team for formation and sub-base construction.
• Lead pavement layers, kerbing, vehicle restraint systems and road markings.
• Ensure works meet the Specification for Highway Works and DMRB requirements.
• Coordinate with Temporary Traffic Management, Structures, Drainage, Utilities and other teams.
• Drive the programme, maintain motorway availability and support handover to National Highways.
