Job summary

BEAR Scotland Limited is seeking a Pavement Manager based in Perth to lead the pavement team within our North West unit. The role focuses on the investigation and design of Structural Maintenance schemes, reporting to the Roads Manager.

Hybrid work is available after three months, with a full-time 40-hour week and occasional overtime. Reporting to the Roads Manager/Planned Maintenance Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring schemes are delivered on time and compliance is

Qualifications

• Professional qualification (IEng/CEng) or working towards it.
• Knowledge of current design standards and practices.
• Ability to manage contracts and control systems.
• Strong communication skills and driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage pavement team to ensure timely scheme approvals.
• Coordinate delivery of technical reports to Transport Scotland.
• Liaise with Transport Scotland in workshops to discuss challenges.
• Prioritise workload to meet programme dates.
