Job summary

InHealth, the UK's largest specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions, is seeking a patient-facing contact centre specialist in the Lung Cancer Screening team. The role focuses on booking life-saving appointments, handling calls, triage, and data accuracy within an NHS-aligned environment.

You will be the first point of contact for patients, handling a high-volume phone workload with empathy and professionalism, while complying with data protection and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer or patient-facing role, predominantly phone-based.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Understanding of patient confidentiality and data protection (GDPR).
• Comfortable working with internal systems and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to schedule and manage patient appointments, working toward set KPIs.
• Complete telephone triage consultations to assess eligibility.
• Maintain accurate patient records and data for reporting.
• Escalate issues and ensure follow‑up appointments meet NHS guidelines.
• Deliver excellent service while supporting patients from a wide range of backgrounds.
