Job summary

INTEGRIS Health is seeking a Daytime, Full-Time Patient Services Representative for its Ear/Nose/Throat clinic in Edmond, OK. The role handles patient check-in/out, appointment scheduling, and financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in the practice management system.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of customer service experience, with 1 year of clerical work preferred and familiarity with health insurance terms.

Qualifications

• 6 months customer service experience is required.
• 1 year clerical experience is preferred.
• Experience with cashier procedures and basic accounting, basic medical terminology, CPT/ICD-9 knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with telephone customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer and dispatch incoming phone calls and manage high call volume.
• Collect copays and deductibles, and make financial arrangements.
• Check in/out patients and schedule appointments.
• Verify insurance eligibility and enter demographics in PM system.
• Escort messages to clinicians and providers and document accurately.
• Maintain excellent telephone etiquette and timely workflow.
