Job summary

The Beardwood Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Patient Administrator to join the Administration team on a bank basis. You will support the patient journey, manage bookings and queries, and help maintain safe, efficient hospital operations.

Applicants should have Maths and English GCSEs (A–C), be proficient with a PC, and have basic financial awareness. Previous private healthcare administration experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grades A–C or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the smooth running of the patient administrative process throughout the patient journey.
• Ensure Circle Health Group best practice process maps are followed to provide a standard service to patients, visitors, consultants and staff.
• Deal with patient queries efficiently and professionally.
• Manage all incoming and outgoing mail.
• Approve electronic bookings and update bookings received via email.
• Maintain knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act and ensure appropriate measures are taken for all stakeholders.
• Complete relevant mandatory training.
