Job summary

Optegra Eye Healthcare in Manchester is seeking an experienced receptionist to join its patient services team at the private hospital. You will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, handling queries in person and over the phone with a professional approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in front of house or customer service role.
• Experience with customer billing/accounts is desirable.
• Private healthcare experience is desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Well organized, able to prioritise and cope under pressure.
• Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail.
• Effective written and oral communication.
• Ability to act as a resource for colleagues and staff.
• Good IT skills with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide cover at the main hospital reception.
• Be the first point of contact for patients and visitors in person and by phone.
• Greet patients and visitors professionally at reception.
• Support Patient Services with queries before and after consultations.
• Assist with billing and general administration for Patient Services.
