Job summary

One Stop Healthcare in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Patient Services Advisor to join the Patient Services team. This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive salary plus benefits and requires flexibility to cover a 7-day rota.

You will be the first point of contact for patients, helping them access the right service while handling administrative tasks such as billing. A proactive, empathetic approach is essential to support the clinic’s high standard of care.

Qualifications

• Good standard of general education with GCSE including English and Mathematics and proficient in MS Office applications.
• Experience of working in a public reception environment managing face to face communication with the patients/public.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and patients to OSH and assist them in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional, courteously and efficiently.
• Maintain a visible presence and pro-actively communicate with patients, doctors, consultants, and other clinic team members.
• Undertake administrative duties including those related to billing and payments to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Work 37.5 hours per week over a 7 day rota; weekends and bank holidays may be required.
