Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking a Patient Service Advisor in Worsley, Manchester. You will be the first point of contact for patients, carers and healthcare professionals, handling enquiries, processing orders and providing empathetic support for specialist healthcare equipment.

This busy role in a customer-focused Homecare team offers full training, Monday to Friday hours, and a clear path for progression while making a real difference to patients' lives every day.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service or contact centre roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Empathetic, professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Experience using SAP or Salesforce would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Managing customer enquiries from patients, carers and healthcare professionals.
  • Processing telephone and digital orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Handling equipment-related queries and emergency support calls.
  • Liaising with NHS personnel including GPs and nurses.
  • Providing clear and professional communication at all times.
  • Maintaining accurate records across multiple systems.
  • Working to service level agreements and targets.
  • Delivering a high standard of customer care while handling sensitive situations.

Patient Service Advisor Worsley, Manchester

Salary: £32,468 per annum

Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm | (3 years min Experiance required)

We are recruiting for a Patient Service Advisor to join a busy and supportive Homecare team based in Worsley. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service experience who enjoys helping others and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The RoleAs a Patient Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for patients, carers, clinicians and healthcare professionals. You will handle customer enquiries, process orders, resolve issues and provide support relating to specialist healthcare equipment.

Working in a busy contact centre environment, you will deliver a professional, empathetic and efficient service while maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing customer enquiries from patients, carers and healthcare professionals.
  • Processing telephone and digital orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Handling equipment-related queries and emergency support calls.
  • Liaising with NHS personnel including GPs, Respiratory Nurses and other healthcare professionals.
  • Providing clear and professional communication at all times.
  • Maintaining accurate records across multiple systems.
  • Working to service level agreements and performance targets.
  • Delivering a high standard of customer care whilst handling sensitive situations.
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience within a customer service, contact centre or administration role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Empathetic, professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Experience using SAP, Salesforce or similar systems would be advantageous.
  • Monday to Friday working pattern.
