Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is inviting applications for a senior maternity services role responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations, prioritising women and birthing people, and allocating staff to maintain a safe, high-quality service.
The post holder will lead by example, support all staff in the multidisciplinary team, and work with the Head of Midwifery to deliver PRIDE values and an inclusive culture, while overseeing bed capacity, escalation
The post-holder will be responsible for the organisation and co-ordination of day-to-day activities within maternity services by effective utilisation of resources. This includes prioritising the care needs of women and birthing people and appropriately allocating staff maintaining a safe service in all areas.
To act as a role model promoting and maintaining high standards of maternity care within the department.
Proactively contribute to the support and development of all grades of staff within the multidisciplinary team by providing professional clinical guidance and advice.
To support the Head of Midwifery and matrons in the execution of their role.
