Job summary

The Staff Bank at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers flexible working hours and the chance to gain experience across different areas. Training is provided to enable you to work across the Trust, with paid supernumerary clinical time and opportunities to develop skills in various specialties.

Open to NHS staff seeking flexible shifts; excludes those requiring Skilled Worker visa sponsorship or new qualifications.

Qualifications

• Inpatient experience of working in an acute hospital within the last 12 months.
• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Ability to work a minimum of 12–24 hours per month (preferred).
• Post holders must meet NHS/NMC eligibility and not require Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Ward/Department multidisciplinary clinical teams to maintain high standards of patient care under the Ward/Department Sister/Charge Nurse.
• Work in accordance with NMC principles and Trust Policies.

Requirements

• Essential to have inpatient experience of working in an acute hospital within the last 12 months as an NMC registrant. Applications will get reviewed and further information will be discussed during the interview. Bank paediatric, maternity or theatre roles are advertised separately, so please check NHS Jobs for any current vacancies.
• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
• Ideally the ability to work a minimum of 12-24 hours per month
