NHS Scotland is seeking a confident, well-organised Patient Flow Co-ordinator to join the Edinburgh Flow and Discharge Hub at the Astley Ainslie Hospital. This 36-hour-per-week role focuses on safe patient flow and timely discharge across Lothian hospitals.

You will work with a small, busy team to identify discharge pathways, apply delayed discharge coding, and help allocate beds within EHSCP. Full training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Educated to HNC/HND level or equivalent experience, preferably in an NHS environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office packages is essential.
• Experience in an NHS setting is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Identify patients suitable for discharge pathways and apply delayed discharge coding.
• Support the efficient allocation of beds within EHSCP.
• Deliver administrative duties to support daily operations and reporting.
