You can make an exceptional difference in the lives of our patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. Do you desire to deliver care in an empathetic, compassionate way - the way you'd want your own care to be?

Joining DaVita as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) is an exciting opportunity to jump start your career in healthcare! With paid, extensive training, you will gain the skills needed to care for our patients and build a network of other healthcare professionals across your region. After training, you will join a team of care professionals including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other PCTs to care for our patients. It's more than a job—it's a career based on passion and purpose.

Position Details:

  • Training occurs at a facility or clinic other than your assigned home clinic.
  • Must be able to float to various clinics during and after training.
  • Flexible schedule required, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays (we are closed for Thanksgiving and Christmas).
What to Expect:
  • Direct patient care, providing safe, comfortable dialysis treatment.
  • Care for multiple patients, monitoring and recording stats, patient observations, and machine setup.
  • Exposure to blood and needles.
  • Build long-term relationships with patients and educate them on dialysis-related topics.
  • Work under RN supervision as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Opportunity to earn certification as a Hemodialysis Technician.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Comfortable working around blood and needles.
  • Ability to work long hours (10-12 hours shifts) on your feet.
  • Willingness to train across multiple clinics.
  • Stable employment history.
  • Healthcare experience preferred, such as CNA, CMA, or Phlebotomy certification.
What We Provide:
  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off.
  • Support resources for you and your family.
  • Paid training.

DaVita is a clinical leader committed to improving patient health through quality initiatives. We welcome applications on an ongoing basis.
