Job Description

Position: Interior Plant Maintenance Technician

Location: Yorkshire (York, Harrogate, Hull & Leeds)

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £25,732

Reporting To: Team Leader

The Role

As an Interior Plant Maintenance Technician, you will maintain tropical plants across various businesses, ensuring high-quality service to our growing customer base. This role offers an opportunity to join a busy, fast-paced environment with a friendly team and prospects for progression and development.

Main Duties

• Watering, feeding, and pest control of live plant displays
• Replacing dead, dying, or overgrown plants
• Maintaining artificial plant displays
• Assisting with plant display installations and seasonal setups
• Completing maintenance documentation
• Adhering to health and safety standards
• Building good relationships with suppliers and customers
• Identifying sales opportunities

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Full UK driver’s license
• Excellent communication skills
• Teamwork skills
• Knowledge of plants is advantageous
• Horticulture qualification is desirable but not essential
• Experience in a similar role is beneficial; full training will be provided
