About the Role

Joining DaVita as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) is a great way to start your career in healthcare. We provide paid, extensive training to equip you with the skills needed to care for our patients and connect with healthcare professionals across your region. After training, you'll work alongside a team of nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other PCTs to deliver exceptional patient care. Position Details
  • No dialysis experience required
  • Training may occur at a facility or training clinic outside your assigned home clinic
  • Potential to float to various clinics during and after training
  • Flexible schedule required, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
What to Expect
  • Providing direct patient care during dialysis treatments
  • Monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures, including measuring stats and setting up machines (exposure to blood and needles)
  • Building long-term relationships with patients and educating them on dialysis-related topics
  • Working within a team of clinicians, supervised by RNs

Minimum Requirements
  • Desire to care for others in the healthcare field
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Comfort working around blood and needles
  • Ability to work long hours on your feet
  • Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics
  • Healthcare certifications such as BONENT, CHT, CNA, CMA, or Phlebotomy are a plus
