We Are Hiring

• Department: Operating Room
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 11:00am-7:30pm or 10:00am-6:30pm. Weekday, weekend, and holiday call rotations
• Hospital: UAB St. Vincent's East
• Location: Birmingham, AL

PCT experience strongly preferred!

What You Will Do

Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision, including:

• Aiding with movement and placement of patients
• Transporting patients throughout the hospital
• Turning over operating rooms between cases
• Terminally cleaning operating rooms
• Assisting with patient preparation for surgery, including positioning, sterile limb holding, and table assembly

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer date, accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of relevant experience
• Note: Professional licensure/certification can substitute for education or experience if applicable
