Job summary

SpaMedica is recruiting a Medical Receptionist on a fixed term contract until July 2027, based across our Colchester Hospital cluster. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, working 4 days out of 6, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, at 100 The Crescent, Colchester.

You will greet visitors and callers professionally, register new patients, scan documents, book appointments with confidentiality, and manage reception for each clinic while delivering excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience in NHS or private healthcare reception is desirable.
• Excellent communication and confidentiality skills.
• Professional and courteous interacting with patients and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and telephone callers professionally.
• Register new patients and scan documents onto the medical system.
• Send letters to patients and photocopy notes as required.
• Book appointments with strict attention to patient confidentiality.
• Manage reception responsibilities for each clinic and provide excellent customer care.
