Job summary

SpaMedica is recruiting a Medical Receptionist for our Chelmsford Hospital cluster. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, across 4 days in a 6-day pattern, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Salary is £26,250 per year. You will greet visitors, register patients, book appointments, and support multiple sites with high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Greet visitors and telephone callers professionally.
• Register new patients and scan documents onto the medical system.
• Make appointments with regard to patient confidentiality and attention to detail.
• Manage reception responsibilities for each clinic.
• Handle administration tasks efficiently.

Role: Medical Receptionist

Location: Lower Ground And Ground Floor, Buckenham House, 1 Coval Wells, Chelmsford, CM1 1WZ

This role will be based within our Chelmsford Hospital cluster, which involves working across multiple sites across the region.
Hours: Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, working 4 days out of 6, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Salary: £26,250

Responsibilities:

• We need somebody to ensure that all visitors and telephone callers to the practice are greeted professionally
• You will register new patients, scan documents onto our medical system, send letters to patients as necessary & photocopy notes and other information
• You will make appointments for our patient applying your understanding of patient confidentiality & attention to detail
• Managing reception responsibilities for each clinic
• Effective with all administration tasks
• Providing excellent customer care to all our patients
