Please note, this position is available on a 12-month fixed-term contract (Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week).

The Role:

As a Patient Administration Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring all patient referrals are processed and appointments are booked efficiently according to GenesisCare policies. You will undertake all necessary administrative activities and provide excellent customer care to patients and visitors. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact and develop your career.

What You'll Do:
  • Work closely with consultants and secretaries to support the patient referral pathway.
  • Act as a point of contact for all patients, ensuring a professional and efficient service.
  • Confirm receipt of referrals and register all patients referred for Radiotherapy, Outpatient clinics, Chemotherapy, and Diagnostics.

Experience and Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience managing a busy reception area.
  • Experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in various administrative roles.
  • Empathetic and holistic approach to patient care.
  • Experience resolving complaints satisfactorily.
Qualifications and Knowledge:
  • Experience with MOSAIQ IT package is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Previous experience in healthcare is preferred.
Other Requirements:
  • Work cooperatively within a team, share information, and assist colleagues to achieve team objectives.
